To rehab and waterproof 20,000-square-feet of common walkways for 18 buildings that were fully occupied. Project deadline: 18 weeks.
Once Conduit Development was selected as the contractor, Conduit immediately developed a daily construction schedule that was shared with the management company and existing tenants. By closely adhering to this schedule and strategically allocating resources, the project was completed 10 weeks ahead of schedule, was on-budget and exceeded customer expectations.
Prior to being awarded this project, Simon personally walked the grounds five times to confirm the amount of work that had to be completed and the square footage involved. He personally met with the property manager and owner, and educated them on the requirements for this job. While another contractor presented an incomplete bid for less money, Conduit was thorough with its initial assessment, eliminating costly change orders. The client was thrilled, and Conduit expects more jobs in the future.
