With three growing children who were all avid swimmers, the Ketner family was in search of a pool property where they could build their dream home. Geographically, the family needed to stay within the Los Alamitos school district, and the property had to be priced appropriately to make a tear-down economically feasible.
After an extensive search, the Ketner family purchased an 1,800-square-foot home on a 7,500-square-foot lot. Conduit, Lopez Design Architectural Firm and the Ketner family came up with an architectural layout that would be suitable for the growing family for years to come. Special considerations: the home needed to accommodate three pre-adolescent girls, as well as a mother who loved to entertain. Conduit served as the general contractor for the resulting 3,800-sq.-ft. dream home featuring a Cape Cod architectural design. Though completed more than 10 years ago, the home continues to shine as an architectural gem in the community.
